They launched it too late. Those who would buy the Type R already own the regular shaped Civic Type R, and there are plenty of used non-flagship civics on the market.

The drivetrain is crap, as I said a few months ago.

I am not surprised nobody’s gonna buy it.

Put the Civic Type-R engine into it and combine it with a DCT from Getrag.

Some people want an automatic, give them a wet DCT.

It’s grossly overpriced here. A BMW 230i makes more sense and a Honda should never make a BMW look like a better value buy.

I honestly cannot find a redeeming thing I can point to on this car. I cannot fathom somebody paying insane dealer mark-up prices to buy this, and as a Honda fan, this car such a disappointment. Such a fail.

It looks more like a Civic coupe than a Prelude, (and I think I'm even insulting the Civic)
