It reminds me of that Eclipse, honestly I'm very disappointed, I expected something much more relevant, I always adored each and every one of the preludes and I don't think it's that great, but I'll have to see it in person, I'll give it that right

Looks like the production car has been revealed somewhere. I actually like it, especially the interior.

I've always had a soft spot for the Prelude. My first car was a 4th Generation 1992 VTIR and my second car was a 5th Generation 1997 VTIR.

It was sad to see the Japanese manufacturers abandon this market segment in droves in the early 2000's, so I'm glad to see the Prelude make a come back.

I like this new car, and it looks like they've taken much inspiration from the 4th generation externally, albeit with a healthy dose of 4 series in there for good measure lol. I wish they had done the same internally and adopted the flat 'spaceship' interior architecture of the 4th Gen. It would have been a nice nostalgic nod to what was probably the most loved Prelude generation and it's also a set up very in step with what we are seeing in terms of horizontal multiple screen UI's.

Honda is just so timid and weak. Takes an act of god to get them to have some fun nowadays. They’ve given up on Acura.

They built legends, NSX,S800,S2000 several Type-R generations, the K24 engine.

Vtec became an Icon.

Those cars were light, fast and affordable.

They’ve lost the plot completely.

I like Honda, but the current lineup is very dull.

Except for the Type R Civic they dont have any cars that I can think of that are performance cars.

The 1990s to mid 2000s were their heyday and they had some fantastic cars, Integra R, S2000, Civic R, NSX, CRX. So many amazing sports cars with screaming 8000rpm plus VTec engines.

I used to love Honda when I was in my 20's they were the best Japanese brand for high performance cars that everyone could afford.

The Type-R Civic will be pulled from the European market in the next months.

I absolutely agree with you.

What do you think who’s going to fill this vacuum?
At the moment of the Japanese car brands, it looks like Toyota are the ones who are filling that performance car vacuum. The GR models are exploding and the Yaris and Corolla GR models are huge successes.
