I got my driving license at december last year, and today was the first time when I tried to drive hard my bro's 2005 Suzuki Swift. And I have to say, it's going surprisingly quick . It's got just 92 hp (and the weight is around 1 ton) but when I gave full throttle at 70 km/h in 3rd gear, I really felt the acceleration. At 140 km/h I gave the 4th gear to it and it's still didn't want to stop. Sadly the most I saw was 160 km/h, because there was a very dangerous corner in front of me... The brakes are pretty good, too...:D
Hope one day I can reach the 175 km/h top speed somewhere .

I will do a video-shot of it's acceleration from 0 to 160 km/h soon.

So, well done Suzuki!:usa7uh:

One of my friends had an automatic Suzuki Swift which he trashed and trashed until it one day died. Fun little car. When he slammed it with the automatic transmission, the little 3-cylinder engine screamed like crazy but there was no acceleration - literally. :D

Haha :D Yes, those 3 cylinder versions are funny :D

That's a nice ride your bro has DeDe. My dad test drove the latest Swift Sport, he says it'll give the GTI a run for its money. The one we tested was a 126bhp, 1.6L I4 engine mated to a manual. It was half the price of a GTI.

Oh yes, the Swift Sport...I'm in love with that car...:D:bowdown:

I still remember the first time I floored a car and I really wasn't ready for it so it's really something I'll remember:D

Don't do it too much though or you'll eventually get bored;)

I have my driving license for almost ten years and i "pushed the pedal to the metal" only once in my S60 and once in my Clio.

The S60 pushes really hard, but i prefer the "easy acceleration". I usually speed only when cruising, and cruising means no hard accel. and braking.

The Clio does not push at all. It's 16y.o. so when i pushed it it nearly broke.

But it's nice to see you have fun with your car..
