The Porsche think tank is celebrating its anniversary: 50 years ago, the Weissach Development Centre went into operation. The Development Centre’s success story began on 1 October, 1971 with the relocation of the development and design de-partments from Zuffenhausen to Weissach, 25 kilometres away from Stuttgart. Since then, the Development Centre has been a hub for innovative vehicles and intelli-gent development projects.
