I also was considering the Tiguan but i found the spaces and luggage compartment a bit small (similar to A3 Sportback for example) so we bought a Nissan X-Trail (my wife will drive it).

On the other hand if you don't have kids (i have 2) it will be a good choice for you.

BTW the diesel engine is much better than the 1.4 lt TSI (which makes too much noise).

Well, I don't have kids & I'm marrying this summer: who knows what's to happen ?
But make no mistake, I'll be driving that car , not my future wife

My future father in law test drove it and loved it. Said he'd consider it as eligible if he were to buy a new one right now. A man with good taste I say
