Things we dislike in modern car design!

Yeah, they went over really badly.

I'll put up one that I always complain about. Actually, make that two: Obsessively non-functional designs, with terrible sight-lines, making for dangerous vehicles practically, which in turn make it so you have to be under 6' tall to properly fit inside. Also, nonsensical, random side surfacing on otherwise great designs. Not to mention, reverse wedge lines on cars that can't decide as to whether they're wedge shaped or anti-wedge shaped.... and finally, door handles that don't even follow the lines (making the surfacing all the more nonsensical):

I saw one today at the gas station in that very color(Arctic white?) and my head turned with the car as it was leaving. I think the lines are perfect for a car in that segment. It stands out, yet is subtle and in your face at the same time. One of my favorite designs, personally.

Yes, I love the architecture of the CLS. When I see it at night, when the lines don't stand out, it looks almost mysterious, which is absolutely a remarkable quality. However, when I see those lines, the mystery goes away, and it looks like somebody drew something that wasn't even intended for this car. They are unique though, no doubt about that, so some will like it I'm sure. If the stupid thing had enough room to fit my relatively tall head, I can try and force them to grow on me!
