"The What's the fastest speed you've gone? thread"

235 km/h in my 320d (on the speedo)
300 km/h as a passenger in a Lambo Murcielago and I can assure you that's fast...
150 km/h in a modded austin mini 1000 from '89

Passenger : indicated ~320km/h, friend's 911 Turbo (Stage 3), South Africa
Driver : indicated ~ 180mph (290 km/h), 997 C4S.

Hai!
300 Km/h with my actual car CL63 (official max. speed limited to 300 by AMG)
300 Km/h with my old E55, also limited to 300 by AMG.
290 Km/h with my very old Arden A-Type (1999 :D)
280/290 something about that with the first model of the R1 Yamaha.

But it´s getting more and more difficult to reach those highspeeds, because of the traffic (220-260 is easy )

1985 Mercedes-Benz 300SE W126: 225 km/h (max. speed)
1989 Mitsubishi Galant Super Saloon 1600: 160 km/h (max. speed)
1989 Mercedes-Benz 500SL R129: 250 km/h (limiter is removed and my dad managed 270 km/h once)
1992 Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 GTI DOHC 16V: 215 km/h (max. speed)
1996 Toyota Tamaraw 1.5: 121 km/h (max. speed)
1996 Mitsubishi Pajero 2500 Intercooler Turbodiesel: 140 km/h (max. speed)
1997 Ssangyong Musso 2.9 Turbodiesel: 165 km/h (max. speed)
1998 Nissan Cefiro 2.0 VQ V6: 217 km/h (max. speed)
2002 Mercedes-Benz E320 Avantgarde W211: 247 km/h (max. speed)
2003 Mercedes-Benz C180 Kompressor W203: 220 km/h (it could do more but I didn't the chance...)
2008 BMW 118i: 235 km/h (max. speed)

ok heres the idea, whats the fastest speed u have ever gone, no BS :P and if u have any pictures of the speedometer to prove it plz share it,,, thank you! :)

well ive gone abit over 270 kmh with my S5 on my way to vegas.

heres a prove :)

lol sorry for the bad picture, i was very nervous!

And if anyone does, bless your soul you made it back in one piece to paste that picture--

Should be able to have the limit raised to 300kph or a little more for only a few hundred$$$
So you pay even more for an M5 to have to go faster, in other words to have your vehicle actualize it's full potential which was deliberately hindered and restricted from doing. What a rip off and arbitrage opportunity the Germans have set up here. To bad you can do 307 km/h in a CTS-V bone stock and at the same 61k base price. :usa7uh:

PS: I'm sucha Temple Coagitator!

Well thank the German gentlemens law, though it may have prevented the Germans from having speed limits everywhere.

You just have to go to an aftermarket tuner.

Yeah that does suck. This law I don't so much appreciate. What's the difference if you lose control, crash and burn and/or hit the tree at 250 km/h or at 300 km/h. The answer is nothing, since Kansas is still going bye-bye, Dorothy. :D

My previous 530d...
