I love the PolProf it’s a mad watch, it’s massive as well.

I saw a huge man wearing the new Rolex Deep Sea Challenge, he made it look small.

Yes, the Ploprof has gone back to it’s roots, with it’s monobloc case.

I think the Omega Ultra Deep is wearable for everyone with a 19-20 cm and more wrist circumference. I’m going to try this new one as soon as possible.

The Omega Ultra Deep looks great on my 21cm wrist, but this guy made the Deep Sea Challenge look small and it’s a massive watch. A lot larger than the Ultra Deep.

I don't know if it's the photo or my perception, but that green doesn't look good on the wrist, it looks like a toy watch or rather something of rude plastic

The novelty Fast & Furious watch...

.. more than half a million quid and they avoid licensing the likeness of real cars from the film the watch is supposed to celebrate.

Wow, what a piece of crap

I need some advice. I'm treating myself with a Hamilton Khaki Field watch, though I am not settled on which one yet. I have a budget of 1200€ and I want an automatic.

I understand that the mechanical version of the Khaki Field requires manual winding using the crown, while the automatic version winds itself via hand movement, correct?

Right now my everyday watch is a Seiko 5, the SNK809 model and I love the looks of it. White numbers on black backround works perfect and I'd like a similar looking Khaki Field, so I'm open to suggestions.

@Giannis Hamilton khaki field is a fine watch, which will not disappoint in every day use. Personally I like the Murph, which comes in acceptable sizes of 38 mm and 42 mm.

Hamilton has the Khaki Field in several sizes, with metal bracelets and leather straps. In steel and titanium. Just take a look at their Website www.hamiltonwatch.com

Most have automatics inside, which means a mechanical watch that winds itself by the movements of your arm and wrist. Base of the calibers used, are ETA. These are good and easy to maintain.

Here’s a comparison between your Seiko and another Hamilton Khaki Field Watch (with a handwound movement).

I like the Khaki, but I find the dial a bit busy. (Also, I had the same Seiko as you).

I'll to head you into this wonderful german "tool" watches:

As an engineer, I think you'll love the heat treatment hardened given to the case, water and magnetic resistance, etc.

Another great option with a similar concept is the Sinn 556:

Or if going classi, a flieger, like the ones from Archimede or Stowa:

All in the same price point as the Hammy....
