Wow! Interesting. I always believed the legend that the W25 had its paint scrapped off to reduce weight and make the car legal for the 750 kg class. Interesting story.

Wow!!! I also thought this - and it's the official version! Nearly every Mercedes car catalogue "tells" this story, when it comes to the new "Nano-technology"!
