This holidays are called „Eisheiligen“ or Ice saints, putting the race in the fridge of Germany ( the Eifel) on that date was always stupid.

I Hope they’ll find enough winter tires for the cars.

I believe there's noise restrictions in place at the Nordschleife, but the limit is pretty loud, as I understand it louder than most GT3 cars. It can affect some of the classic racers to a greater degree. If you've ever heard an M1 procar or Group A M635 you'll know what I mean.

Nope, the SPA GT3 are straight piped, on the Nürburgring you have a dB limit which sits at 130dB at the exhaust pipe and full chat , or 98dB (LP) at drive pass measurements.

Spa is 100dB @ 15m for WEC LMGT3 (110 for LMDh), For the 24 hour I think it's around generally capped at less than 120dB.

I'm not saying they don't run different set-ups but muted is not how I would describe the difference between them. I've heard a lot of race cars in my time, and I have to say GT3 has never been that impressive however.

On the English Commentary Frank van Meel just stated that the M3 Touring 24h was built with a buyer for the car already lined up. Interesting.

Also, Max just got a bit too much air and nearly binned it!

BM's just don't seem to have any particular pace at the moment - to the degree the Tourer is the highest placed BMW...
