Yes, but as discussed earlier in this forum; this manufacteur time was not good (personally I never understood why they published it).

So this proves several points:

• Gebhardt is insanely quick for an amateur.
• The delta between him and a "pro-driver" on Gebhardts hometurf (NoS and HHR) is minimal - the diiference caused by track conditions is larger ... and since sport auto also has to do the laps under sub-optimal conditions compared to manufacturers, who can wait for the perfect window of opportunity for their record attemps ... this is the major difference.
• the laptime done by Weidinger with the CSL wasn't perfect ... imho mainly due to conditions. And you also have to note, that Weidinger no pro-driver! He is M development driver and has a hobby to to hill climb like races as an amateur!
• It really only makes sence to compare sport auto times PLUS have a look at the environment conditions, which always get noted with the test results.
