You know I have to ask myself why! The rear doesn`t even look like a top of the line model. The design is just out of balance behind the B-Pillar!

B-Pillar?

This car has no B Pillar.

B-Pillar (or B-Post) it`s mass is concealed behind the door but it`s still there.
You can see it inside the passenger door. The CL from MB is one of the few coupes` that may have two panes of glass the there is no physical B-Post, even behind the glass.

I can tell right now that it will never be a favourite of mine. However, it still looks like a true Ferrari - but it's predecessor, the 575M, was much better looking IMO.

Now some awesome photos have come up! man I see a lot of C6 Corvette
in the details! I however change my last opinion about this car, I like the design front and rear. It`s a little retro with some youthful appeal the 575 didn`t possess. Thumbs up from GTA!

Come to think of it the C6 Corvette designers might have copied some design
elements from the 575! I remember some of us had this discussion back on
GermanCarFans..

I remember saying something along the lines of the Vette looking like the illegitimate love child of a 360 Modena and a Viper. First impressions, huh?

About the 599... I wonder what it would look like in silver and with some different alloys. It'll never be a stunned but I bet it can look a lot better than in those pics.

I love this car! At first I was a little iffy until I thought long and hard about the looks. While most often cars of this caliber have very safe and un-pretentious designs, this car is exactly the oppisite, and that in my opinion is what makes this car so great. It's not a cheap imitation of a thing of the past, but an entirely new design that shows a straight(read) forward approach to what a Ferarri flagship car should look like.

Kudos to Marenello, Italy! Enzo himself I'm sure would be proud, very proud!
