The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3.

Would have thought they would have went to Spartanburg for the media launch like the rest of the US manufactured models.
 
This car is going to be a gigantic hit for BMW. The fourth gen already, time flies.
Last year they sold 1000 of them a day. The old model. And the total counter is at 3.5 million so far.

I hope it's a success - not only for BMW but also for their customers - as the G01 has been a brilliant car to own and run. I must say that I'm a bit concerned about the G45's interior quality in certain areas. This is based solely on the pics I've looked at - I haven't seen one in person - but I have spotted some areas that look concerning: the door pulls integrated with window switchgear, the lack of the rotary light switch and buttons module, the lack of properly-shaped air vents, etc.

My wife loves her G01 and you'd be hard-pressed to get her out of the BMW brand but I worry that the G45 isn't as nicely made as its predecessor, given that it's the logical next step for her.
