Which reminds me of Evo Morales (my country's president) latest caprice: "The people's palace"

Because according to him, the actual presidential residence represents spanish influence/oppresion and colonialism.

What a turd. I hate him with all my cells. Sells an image to the world, of being a forward thinking, nature armonist and lover, and the living reveindication of indigenous rights, and then invades the indigenous reserves to explote gas/oil.

I don't think so, there are plenty of large beautifully designed homes in American, IMO the McMansion is just a large tacky home designed to show off how much money you have, or don't have because you can't afford something bespoke.

Don't mind the mess. I'm cleaning it up to make it my den. It was worse than in the pics. I don't have photos of the bedroom or the kitchen, but they are equally messy. Eventually I'll decorate but for now it's just get rid of what doesn't work and try and figure a good place for the projector screen and speakers (to get the best sound).

It's funny because it actually was the garage like 30 years ago, when it was my grandparent's house (there never was a basement). My uncle turned it into an apartment. There's an old kitchen and what not.
But it's being used as the basement haha, that's why it is a mess, no one cares.

At some point in life, everyone must become more mature, and move... to our parents basement
