According to the owner's thread at the Club Lexus, the HID Ballast was mounted way too close to the power steering ECU and "fried" the power steering ECU, thus causing the "possessed" steering effect.

Believe it or not, there are some wealthy, or well off people who actually don't want to buy cars wearing those german badges, they prefer to buy a comfortable, low key but upmarket car, such as a Lexus.
