599 The Ferrari 599GTB is Beautiful!!!! (SLR should be scared)

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (F141) is a grand tourer produced by Ferrari. Production: 2006-2012. Predecessor: Ferrari 575M Maranello. Successor: Ferrari F12berlinetta.
lol the SLR is much more beutiful than this. Besides, is it only me who sees SLR influences in the side profile, particularly the front flanks? :t-hands: Shame the SLR is such a compromised beast performance wise.

True, but name another automatic car that is as fast as it. For what it offers it is truely and still unrivaled. I really like the 599, but I just like the SLR more, though I wish they didn't put an automatic in it.

Remeber guys the SLR is supposed to get a power boost!

The SL55 has already gotton one, the SLR is next! besides that I think the SLR has way more presence than the 599GTB. The 599 is nice
but it almost looks Ferrari Dino toylike compared to the presence of the SLR. To me SLR is the most expensive looking supercar only after the Butatti Veyron.

These performance tweeks shoud help with the powerboost!

Boys, I'm CONFUSED. Can anybody explain me, what car is 599GTB going to replace or what?
Please

Those are some much better pics of the 599, but neither it or the SLR are what I'd call beautiful. That said I still have to see the 599GTB in person because the pics make it looks like shorter 612 S until you see the whole thing then you realize that the sides and details are different. A curious piece.

What I'm sure of though is the performance of this thing. With almost Enzo power and much less weight than the ougoing 575M this thing is going to inhale the racetrack more like a F430 than a 575/612S. The proportions say speed even when standing still as does the general stance of the 599GTB.

Yeah I recently upgraded my opinion of it. It is most definitely better looking than the 612 Scagletti and these pics prove this. I'm liking it more and more each time I see it.

It still has some funky design details though. Look at how that rear pillar is seperated from the glass. The curves remind me of several cars, but still.

Well I like it alot - in fact the only thing that I have any trouble with is the front styling...... other than that.......

This thing will sell like crazy....I wish I could afford one :)

I'm not so sure about the looks yet, but sure they will grow on me like the 612 did!

The more I look at this car it looks like an evolution of the 456M just as much as it does the 612 Scag. This could be a real stunner in person I'm thinking.

It must look good at least a little bit in the pics to look even better irl, but that's not the case here, in Tycoon's opinion...

:t-cheers:

It looks good to me. I`m loking at the materials in the cabin! top notch fit and finish. Ferrari has gotton their act together in recent times with quality. ;) I see a lot of Japanese influence in the profile. The rear almost looks Lexus like.

Yeah this car is all over the place design wise isn't it? In the above shot I see Toyota Supra shape very clearly. That could be considered awful.

Maybe because it's a lot older than this frog. ;) Oh and Supra looks 10 times better than this Ferrari, imo of course...

OMG Merc1! your description just blew me away!!! :t-hair: :t-rot:

This makes the car much less appealing now!
