The new Lister "Stealth" is based on the powerful F-Pace SVR Super SUV from Jaguar. The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine was increased to a maximum output of 675 hp in order to reach a top speed of more than 322 km / h. This way he secures the title of the fastest SUV. The 0-100 km / h can be reached in just 3.5 seconds while the whole family, including the dog, are on board.

The regular Jaguar F-Pace SVR develops 551 hp from its factory-charged V8, but the Lister has a remarkable increase of 124 hp. Lister's machine is also over 0.5 seconds faster at 100 kilometers per hour.

Visually, the Lister Stealth will be equipped with a muscular new body kit, which has swollen wheel arches and a more aggressive front. The Lister branding also replaces the Jaguar logos throughout the vehicle.

124hp is a huge increase. It must have been achieved with new turbos and bigger air intakes.

At full throttle the car must sound like 5 AK47s being fired at the same time.

Nice CUV. Only needs 100l fuel tank (not 60l like a smal diesel) and individual rear bucket seats (ala Panamera).

That doesn't look stealthy at all

Maybe stealthy performance?

I'm pretty sure there are faster modified SUVs out there, take for example that Nissan Patrol which smoked a 918 in that TG episode. Lister is a tuner in my eyes and other tuners have made faster SUVs. So to claim their's is the fastest is false.

The only thing that's good about this car is that it will be excellent at taking advantage of cheap fuel.

And this with the old supercharged V8 with Ford roots?
This very unreliable engine still bumped up in power? My brother had an F-Type R and a severe engine failure after 30 thousand kilometers. Back then I did some research and learned, that this engine has a plethora of problems and my brother was far from belonging to a minority, who had its engine replaced .... and this was a version with "just" 550hp.

The Ford V8 has been reliably tuned to much higher power...

That's not the same engine, the AJ8 is a Jaguar engine that was built by Ford, at the time this engine started production Jaguar didn't have it's own engine building plant.

Depends what exactly is different, if it's based on the same block and bottom end it should, or can be made reliable relatively easily. The problem with the internet is that the people who've had bad experiences make more noise than everyone else put together regardless of how few there are. Just 10 people can make a heck of a noise, even though another 100,000 are happy, which means 99.99% of people are fine.

It won't. It won't be the fastest one. Or maybe it will be the fastest one for about 60 seconds, until Lamborghini releases an even faster Urus.

Considering that 15-16 seconds pass on the youtube timer for the quicker car during the quartermile both cars must be pretty slow.
