Not exactly what Chrysler wanted to read... but I can't blame the man, really.

A Sebring can do nothing well. Do not buy one. Do not rent one either. It is almost certainly the worst car in the entire world.

Jeremy Clarkson on the Sebring Convertible.
SPOILER!

-The car is so bad, apparently, he didn't even bother giving any star whatsoever.

The Jeremy Clarkson GT SUV is the funniest male in the world.

HAHAHA:D I love Jeremy Clarkson! He can relate anything to anything:D

Btw did anyone read the comment from a owner of on of these cars:usa7uh:

It won't win him many friends in the US -- no need to kick'em when they're down.

But I had to laugh at this:

"We see this with so many American cars. Dynamically, some of them are pretty good these days. One or two are even a match for what the Chinese are doing."

Got a question, why are the Top Gear boys back in America again?

Although the Sebring convertible is quite horrible, the PT Cruiser convertible is even worse. Saw one driving in front of me today, it made me feel pretty sick.

They were in the U.S. recently testing out American peformance cars.

Clarkson, Hammond and May have been spotted at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah testing three of the hottest American cars on the market. Last week they they were spotted in Reno with the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. It seems that we can see a full episode dedicated to American cars on Top Gear soon.

So far Top Gear hasn’t been very generous when it comes to American cars and positive comments. Soon we’ll see can these three American cars change Clarkson’s view on American cars or not.

The ZR1 looks very tasty.

I am surprised to see James May dressing like half his age.

Attention Walmart shoppers.

The funny thing about Clarkson and his American-bashing is he looks like one of those guys you'd expect to see at Disneyland eating a chili dog with fries and extra large Coke -- I imagine he secretly wishes he was a Texas oil baron :D

I can already hear it... "In order not to be stoned to death by the natives, we cleverly disguised ourselves as Americans."

Some of the comments are great :D and others just plain amusing :t-rot:

Chryslers in general are to America what dental health and English food are to Britain. Enjoyed the article!

No one ever claimed the Sebring is good. It doesn't sell. At all.

But that's the German's fault. Daimler is responsible for the Sebring. On the other hand GM's midsize sedan the Malibu is the best in it's class. It 's basically a good looking Passat for thousands less.

Jeremy, I'm shattered to read that you think that the Sebring Cabriolet is the worst car in the world.
Back in 2003 on Top Gear, you, Hammond and May all gave that rating to the Lexus SC430.
Now I can no longer proudly boast that I drive the worst car in the world.

Clearly "Frederick" has no clue about Chrysler, Chevy or VW.

Mr. Clarkson,

While I agree that the Sebring (and Avenger) are terrible cars, I take issue with how we (in the U.S.) have no sense of history- need I remind you that Germans were running Chrysler when this car was designed and released?
Jim, Detroit, US

Lol. Trying to blame the Germans for their miss haps:D
