Agreed, care to add some thoughts to make your point. Some good reasoning perhaps?

A 5.4l V8 with 550hp and 500lbft torque, it's connection to the past, and it is beautiful.

im worried about the realibilty of a Ford GT. Are they reliable?

It's brand new but it is American, but I don't see how it could be any worse than a Lamborghini.

This is what it is all about, go for this one.

I wonder when the hype around the F430 will cool off. The demand for the car is crazy. People are bidding on cars with prices which are more than 10Gs over sticker price.

I bid up to $138K, thats a GORGEOUS car, but nontheless over paying on these cars are rough. Patience is the way to go. That one is Trully the hottest of the bunch! :icondrool

They have a 3yr/36000mile warranty which is one year more than the whole group. My company owns a Ford store so i get one at invoice which is ALOT less than sticker which is what everyone else is paying. And as for service i would have NO PROBLEM's. Like the car alot, manual shift is throwing me off.... Seems like a car like that should have better technology and be up to par with the rest of the super car group of its class.

Figure i can get one about the price that im bdding for on the Gallardo, roughly $135K. And it is brand new!

I hope you guys can see why these choices are so hard for me to make. I really like them all. Thus the poll and reasoning.

The Murcielago will turn more heads than an old model Ferrari period.
Put on some blacked out back lights and chrome 20" rims and....

While I myself am really attracted to the Lambos, I have to suggest the Ferrari for the simple reason that as you have noted yourself, despite the age, they hold their value really well. When getting into this price class of cars, I would not want my car to depreciate at all. I am not familiar with the production numbers, but my guess is that the Ferraris would have the lowest number of cars produced. And that's a real good thing. When paying somewhere between 100 and 200K, you dont want the market ever to be saturated with the model you own.
And as for the turning heads, if that's what you want: All of these cars will do it just the same, maybe the GT the least.

Alex wasnt satisfied with a 500 hp CL55, he tuned it. Therefore 400hp wont be enough for Alex even if it feels like it now. He will change his mind later, im sure about it.

My opinion:

1- Gallardo = Better sportscar and easier to drive on daily basis
2- Murcelago = wow effect on the max and damn fast
3- Ferrari 360 = Very nice but dated anymore
4- Ford GT = Out of the question

I don't see why many people are going for the Ford GT. I personally love it. It's achingly beautiful, incredibly fast and it's an American icon, not to mention it would probably hold it's value better than any of the aforementioned cars.

If you look past the badge, it's simply one of the greatest cars of the world. Wonderful.

If there was a Ferrari 599 GTB as an option i know i'd suggest you that one, but in this case i'll agree with TS... Ford GT!

I'll just quote him:

Therefore!

:t-cheers:

I voted for the Gallardo.
no need to say why. other members already did. but i have seen all cars IRL, and i can say that the Gallardo is the most impressive of all, at least for me...

only one question. will you keep your CL55?

Gallardo seems to be car of choice.... im surprised, but not really. Regardless i have bids on several, all realistic numbers, but it is tough to find a deal.

They're all beautiful and sexy Alex. I say go for the one you really like the most. We're all gonna give you different opinions, but in the end, it's your car and your choice.

I saw a Ferrari 360 Spyder today and I think it's not dated at all.

BTW, can I go pick it up with you when you go get it? :D

Absolutley! So long as you can handle the drive back!!!

I'd go for either one of the Lambos. Murcielago if you want more exclusivity and a real sports car with no compromises. Gallardo if you want it to be more practical, comfortable and easier to drive on daily basis.

Ok, Gallardo it is.... I am currently working a deal on a beautiful blue one...

Would an F355 be too old for you? I might be wrong but my understanding is that the F355 is the last true hand-built F-car. Kinda equivalent to the 993TT in the P-car world.
