Nowhere near in terms of proportions. Maybe one can say that the silhouette evokes E36 but that's where any commonality ends. E36 is a masterpiece in proportion. This - as nice as it may be - isn't.

Yes. The silhouettes are not like for like. However BMW has done a stellar effort in trying to give the car as classic proportions as they can. It’s nice to see an EV sedan that is shaped like a……sedan.
