V-Class/Vito The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz VLE

The Mercedes-Benz Vito/V-Class/Viano/EQV is a mid-sized light commercial vehicle (LCV) produced by Mercedes-Benz, available as a panel van, chassis cab, or multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), carrying cargo or up to eight passengers. In the Mercedes-Benz van lineup, it is positioned between the larger Sprinter and the smaller Citan.
Old V-Class has a starting price of around €54k,
whereas it’s €82k for VLE. Top of the line Exclusive V-Class is around €90k, while the similar model is about €110k for the VLE. I’m assuming the Maybach model will be around €150k, perhaps even more.

There are not many families in the Netherlands and Germany, who can afford these vans. It’s like in the watch industry, prices have gone mad.

I am amazed because I thought they were a kind of vehicle option that I always envisioned as more "affordable" than their counterparts sedans or SUVs, vans being in my eyes more of a niche than anything else, I always saw them as something that needs the added value of having a good price to be chosen instead of those.

Maybe there will be more affordable versions with smaller batteries? Idk. (edit: Apparently there will be one with a starting price of around €65k)

The GLE is positioned as a Grand Limousine, and they also have the more mundane MPV segment.

No, and even less who can afford an S class.
If you want something like it for space, they have a 45k Vito too.

You have an expensive taste my friend.
