V-Class/Vito The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz VLE

The Mercedes-Benz Vito/V-Class/Viano/EQV is a mid-sized light commercial vehicle (LCV) produced by Mercedes-Benz, available as a panel van, chassis cab, or multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), carrying cargo or up to eight passengers. In the Mercedes-Benz van lineup, it is positioned between the larger Sprinter and the smaller Citan.

I think this VLE will certainly be turning heads where ever it goes, its quite unusual and futuristic styling for a van and certainly for a Mercedes.

This car is meant to capture the Chinese Minivan market and Mercedes had to throw the kitchen sink at its exterior and interior to compete against some vehicles such as this Denza D9.

That car has a formidable interior design, but the exterior is over the top and the Mercedes beats it hands down for desirability.

Check the interior of this:

The VLE is nice, but it appears to be aimed at the Chinese market.
I cannot see this being a successful hit here in the US, not by a long shot. We are still in love with large SUVs.

Depends from the engine, as an EV you’re right.

With a proper engine, I think it might work.

I agree. An I6 would sell this in America. Maybe 5-7K a year I’m guessing. There are people who modify Sprinters that I think might be interested.

It'll probably do ok as a high end celebrity transporter for shows and events. Much easier to get in and out of in their fancy outfits, than a sedan or SUV.

I guess the VLS will be a true 2+2 super luxury yacht/mobile office.

Yep and a some families will buy too instead of a SUV.

The comments are good all across the board. Seems Mercedes did a good job here.
