So do you agree or diagree with these choices? Some seem fairly biased, like the Jensen Interceptor, and some plain odd, like the Fiat Multipla, but overall a very good list.

Now before anyone goes and says: "they missed this and that', do remember that this is American magazine and thus really only features cars they were or are sold in America at one point or another. That said, I've found that American publications generally deny the exsistence of cars not sold in their homeland and really helps to explain why some that should be here, aren't.

Eitherway I reckon this is a pretty darn good list. F1, F40 and Veyron? Great cars, but predictable choices. Don't get me wrong, those cars deserve to be here without a doubt and would likely be featured on every enthusiasts list, but I am more interested in the cars that don't typically - or haven't for quite some time - had a fair welcoming.

1st Gen Lexus LS: A huge, huge landmark for Japanese luxury and reliability. Helped further develop the North American luxury market.

Acura NSX: Yes. The car that Gordon Murray said he wanted the McLaren F1 to ride like. Arguably one of the first "usuable' sports/supercars. Reliable, luxurious, first all-body aluminum construction and a whipper snapper for an engine.

Lotus Epsrit: Thank God. For all the Esprit has done since it's inception, this car really hasn't gotten much praise in the last decade. Actually, it's got hardly any. Funny how everyone seems to forget about a car that I think is unforgettable.

But it's not.

"Car and Driver (sometimes abbreviated C/D) is an American automotive enthusiast magazine. Its total circulation is 1.31 million.[2] It is owned by Hearst Magazines, who purchased prior owner Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. in 2011. Originally headquartered in New York City, the magazine has been based in Ann Arbor, Michigan since the late 1970s"

"Today, Car and Driver is also published in Spain and Brazil. The Spanish version just makes use of the Car and Driver name, no editorial direction is shared."

Unless I'm missing something.

This will take a while to get the complete article scanned, but it will be worth it
