Roadster Tesla Roadster 2.0

The Tesla Roadster is an upcoming battery electric four-seater sports car to be built by Tesla, Inc. The company claimed it will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds, which would be quicker than any street legal production car to date at its announcement in November 2017. The Roadster is the successor to Tesla's first production car, the 2008 Roadster.
Valkyrie is a limited production hypercar .

And by obsolete , I would say that the tech is odd. Because it was claiming 2 sec for 0-100. That's what the Plaid does right now , with half the battery.

I think Plaid put the real hold on Roadster.

I'm perfectly aware of what the Aston Martin Valkyrie is. My point was that it's gestational period and people's opinions regards that fact.

And the Tesla Plaid however radical in performance is a completely different market segment as I'm sure you, yourself are aware, it itself will be limited production compared to the Model S in terms of production numbers from memory.

Like I stated until and it if it arrives nobody can really say. And I'll leave it there.

Opinions and conjecture and thoughts can be argued about all day long.

These are all fake. Above one is from a Plaid, while the other one is just computer game rendering. lmao

I know man come on! The first one is from what the creator said is a simulation based on factory manufacturer metrics. So OK fair enough, until verifed!

The second one, I don't know what the hell that is, or is supposed to be but it's completely a joke! Hence the LOL!
🙂

(Anyway, gone.)

Then why do you post it?

It's ok to be enthusiastic, but you should exercise some judgement. Half the threads on the forum are now full of you spamming videos and articles that are of very little relevance or years old, with very little engagement from others. Read the room and realize that maybe we don't want to see all that.

The forum is for everyone to participate, it's not your personal dump site where you throw whatever you like.

Then don't look? Simple. If you're triggered, for whatever reason.

And the reverse has been stated by the majority others. Which is fairly obvious.

And anyway @administration would have stated so if they were any non existent "issues". If they do ofcourse I'll take it on board who wouldn't? Suicidal not to, I've seen what happens.

But I certainly don't need any pointers from you. Unsolicited too? Don't think so, like at all? Ever?

And nothing has been "dumped", that is a complete gross over exaggeration without foundation in reality, if anything has been added it's because it wasn't there previously because I checked. And if it's Legacy orientated, well obviously it's not "new". That's a given.

Also this is NOT your personal site either, goes both ways.

Anyway your quite welcome to ignore me I'm absolutely fine with it. I'm not fussed either way in any shape or form whatsoever in the slightest.

It's obviously a Model S Plaid, didn't took me much to search it

It was more his metrics claims, which is what my reply implicitly stated? A simulation?

Hence the request, very obviously was a (very bad, granted) parody. Which I pointed out.

Looks like it backfired. Noted.

Nevermind, I got rid of them now, because, and regardless of below.

FWIW, favoured etiquette for videos...

1) In the right thread. If the right thread doesn't exist, or was locked long ago, create a new one - don't just post in the first thread you can find that's vaguely appropriate.

2) Some text before the video embed to describe what the video is. Even if it seems apparent, just a few words helps. If for no other reason, the search function doesn't work with embeds. You might have posted the most fascinating video in the world, but if it ends up buried 50 pages deep in a 150 page thread, no one is going to find it, even if they're looking for it unless you've put something usefully descriptive in the post.

3) If there's a video that you're expecting people to draw a specific conclusion from, that might not be obvious, it helps the discourse to state what your conclusion is so people know why they're watching something as well as what they're watching.

4) If a video features 4 or 5 cars, don't feel the need to post it in the threads for all the cars, consider making a new thread.

See, that's cool. I can absolutely work with that framework. I appreciate constructive feedback from those sanctioned to give it in the first place.

I agree the title wasn't the best, because well, there wasn't one and neither did I give a conclusion. So as a consequence, they've gone, never want to see it again!

Related, I'll also try to avoid posting quite that early. Fine.

Number 2 is actually a very big one and I wasn't aware of that, it's obvious on some of the Holy Trinity related materials why you've got to go deep in the information to look for certain things.

Again Thank You and noted and I'll bear everything stated in mind. I'd worked some of it out, you've filled in the blanks.

Just stop arguing. Here you go a real Roadster

Everybody happy?

Mind boggling. It might end up doing 0-120mph quicker than the Nevera goes from 0-60mph - in ideal conditions off course.

We won't see any Roadster for at least 2 years from now

Tesla uses this kind of releases as a marketing tool.

Every 2-3 years , we see "the next thing". And Tesla is the front line everywhere (YouTube , social media , etc ) .

Now it's Cybertruck

2 years ago it was the Plaid

4 years ago it was the Cybertruck concept

6 years ago the Model 3....

Understand where I'm getting?

When the hype is lowering , bang..."another thing"

Well, at least it isn't canned...
Elon's claims are vaporwave, just like for Cybertruck.
We are far from the real thing...

Current tech isn't there to get a revolutionary sports car out there

They can't do like other do, and release the Roadster with 1.8s 0-100% and 600-700range and get away with it.

AM , Porsche , Lambo , release every 5-7 years a "new" car that has bigger turbos and better software for 30-50 more hp and people go nuts , because they can....They have the brand.

Just look at the DB12...
Or every version of the 911 out there ( S/T , Dakar , blabla).

Model S Plaid has almost the same specs as Roadster 2.0. This will not be "the next YouTube thing" right now....

It's a common innovation strategy. If you stand still competitors will catchup and, push prices to the bottom and make margins thinner. BYD and legacy car manufacturers now offer compelling Model 3, Y and S alternatives. Therefore it's pragmatic for Tesla to release new models at different price points like the Cybertruck and Roadster.

I think that is mostly marketing...

Let's be honest , Tesla isn't making too much money from the Cybertruck , Tequilla or the Roadster.

Too niche...

BYD just released U9 . Same thing...

Teaser and official presentation on 1 April (Not a joke)

I wonder what they're looking at. Don't they see that market is dead? Shouldn't they focus on making a completely new Model S and Model X, which were canceled just the other day?
