458 [2009-2015] [Teaser] Sport Auto Supertest - Ferrari 458 Italia

The Ferrari 458 Italia (Type F142) is an Italian mid-engine sports car produced by Ferrari. The 458 is the successor of the F430, and was first officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was succeeded by the 488 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) in 2015.
I think it will lap at around the same time as the F430 Sucderia, so around 7:40 is my guess.

I think it will be way faster than that. Sub 7:35 is my guess, considering GT3 RS mk2 did it in 7:33 and SLS in 7:40. May be even sub 7:30, but since Ferrari doesn't do any development work around the ring, may be that is too optimistic.

The F458 lapped Ferrari's Fiorano test track at the same time as the F430 Scuderia, so that was the reason why I guess the time would be around 7:40min. If the SLS did it in 7:40 then I will now think the F458 can do it in less than 7:35.

But Fiorano is a relatively short track. The Ring is 20,6 km. The longer the track, the bigger the difference. IMO.

Yeah that is absolutely true, the Scuderia matched the Enzo's time on that test track but it was about 15 to 20 sec slower than the Enzo around the Ring. From the reviews so far people say the F458 performs like the Scuderia but with the comfort of the normal 430.
