At the Audi Forum NYC Gala last night, Audi had their three-piece luggage set specifically designed for the R8 on hand for attendees to check out. The leather/carbon fiber set will be available as an accessory once the car comes to market in the spring for Europe and by the third quarter of next year for America.

It seems a lot of sports car recentley are be offered with optional luggage, good idea in my opinion, as long as it's not Ferrari's 6,000 USD luggage.. lol

:t-cheers:

looks like a poor try to be pagani luggage..haha:D
no but seriously they look nice..and pointless like all brand luggage imo

It'll be quite weird carrying an R8 bag around. I think people might find it as a means for the R8 owner to brag - I mean, if he can carry another bag with another brand, say, Polo or something, why not? :t-hands:

It is a little wierd to have an R8 bag, unless they are specifially sized and designed to fit in certain places like the SL baggage which is designed to fit in the back shelf area.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
