I've read lots of good reviews about the Michelin Super Sports, the good thing is that the SS's are summer tires and it rarely rains in California, Ive heard from friends that they grip better then the Pzeros. but in my opinion the Michelin Super Sports are in a higher level.

The Pirelli's are not bad atall, especially when they are brand new, but what I have noticed is after a quarter of their life they get complicated, in order to get the right temperature u need to smash them. I rarely launch my car, but when I do I never get a 100% take off.

my Pirellis can still handle a little less than half life, so im gonna keep them safe.

any ideas? comments? advices? or recommendations? feel free

Michelin PSS imho is the best tire out there compared to its rivals Pirelli/BStone/Dunlop/Yokohama, if it was available in 275/45/20 I'd get it as soon as my Yokohama's on the Cayenne GTS wear out.

I wouldn't worry much about the PSS not being N-rated by Porsche, I'm using it on my GT2 for almost a year with 600hp+ and have no issues what so ever, when I had the cup tires, it felt like skating at full throttle if the tires weren't warmed up properly.

I plan to dump the PZero on my Lambo on its first service and replace it with Michelin PSS, my rear tires breaks loose while downshifting from 5th to 4th at around 180kph and this is only at close to 5,000km, Michelin PS Cup tires were much grippier at 10,000km than my Pzero which have become noisy.

I've already ordered my rear tyres from tyre rack,, but the front tyres are back ordered and will take a couple of week to get in stock. Can't wait...
I will post up my review as soon as I instal them... What I'm excited about is wet traction rating is not bad. :D

Thanx for the very informative post.
