Vs Standing Mile: 2014 Audi R8 V10 Plus vs. 2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT

I am not surprised by the fact that the R8 is faster but I am surprised by just how much faster it is...

28.6 is a very very good result for such a heavy "only 550 bhp" (y) And even the Jag didnt do too bad considering it made up a few miles on the Audi after the 400 meter.:)

The launch of the R8 is incredible, within the first 100 yards the Jaguar never stood a chance and would always be an uphill struggle it was never going to win.

Right. The R8 is one of the hardest launching cars on the market today based on peak accelerative g forces at launch;

Veyron - 1.09g
Panamera Turbo - 1.02g
TT-RS - 1.01g
GT-R - 0.96g
911 Turbo S - 0.96g
X5/X6M - 0.88g
Cayenne Turbo - 0.88g
** R8 V10 - 0.87g (and not the V10 Plus at that...)
C-GT Supersports - 0.85g
458 Italia - 0.79g (hardest launching RWD...)

Guess the v10 plus launches harder then the tt-rs, but i have my doubts about it because the 911 turbo s is one of the fastest accelerating cars u can buy today, so it really gets me a bit confused...
