X1 [Spyshots] 2022 BMW X1 (gen 3)

The BMW X1 is a line of cars produced by BMW since 2009. A subcompact luxury crossover class, the first-generation X1 was based on the E90 3 Series and offered rear-wheel drive layout as standard. The second-generation X1 marked the switch to a front-wheel-drive-based layout using the UKL2 platform shared with the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the Mini Countryman.

They told us at the AGM that X1 will be more functional this generation and offer 7 seats. it’s true going by the prototype that they discussed that it will be styled like a mini-X7.
And possibly It could manufactured in the UK since the test X1s built at Oxford passed all Quality ONE checks.

X1 will be more functional this generation and offer 7 seats.

This makes sense if they're going to keep the X2 going. Without the 2-er Gran Tourer they don't have an affordable lower end 7 seat option. X2 can be the dynamic one, X1 can be the bus.

They say that X1 will offer 7 seats for the first time.
Directly to compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Klasse. But BMW can offer the more sporting appearance compared to the utilitarian GLB-Klasse.
