Same shape, but will most probably feature OLED lights like in the S-class Coupe facelift (and no more "Stardust" lighting effect).

Perhaps a 'rebranding' is on the cards? i.e. E53, E58, E63. They definitely need to proliferat...

In the past we had an E500 model. And everybody knew that you have a top of the line non AMG E-class. It was an indicator that you don't need an AMG, you want the most expensive car from the line but at the same time, a non sporty comfortable one. Now we are talking about several AMG models, so that a person can show that he wants an ANG, but doesn't have enough money for the real AMG? Modern marketing sucks...

Sorry to mention BMW here in this thread but the M performance is the same - it's more a lesser M than the highest non M (with the former showing that you can not afford a full M and the later that you prefer more comfort).

M Performance are regular Bimmers, the highest non M, so I disagree. The only difference now is that they only have one I6 model left, and one V8, instead of several with different state of tunes. So that makes them look more special than they really are.

The 4 cylinder engine will still be harsher , noisier and less refined than the 6 cylinder. The current 4 cylinder petrol engine in the w213 sounds like a truck from the outside.
