Range Rover Sport Spyshots: 2014 Range Rover Sport RS

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport, generally known as the Range Rover Sport, is a mid-size luxury SUV produced by Land Rover, later Jaguar Land Rover. The first generation (codename: L320) started production in 2005, and was replaced by the second generation Range Rover Sport (codename: L494) in 2013, which was replaced by the third generation Range Rover Sport (codename: L461) in 2022.
Bob, body roll means that the centre of gravity changes its relative position, with an immediate effect on the vehicle dynamics. Also, keep in mind how the anti-roll bar works. It transfers load from the more loaded wheel to the other wheel of the same axle, thus utilizing both springs. Sure, the effect will be even more significant with harder springs, but super hard springs with a tooth-pick like anti-roll bar could have the opposite effect of what you're hoping for.
I think I wrote a little explanation about roll centers, and cog a long time ago.. can anyone find it?

Let me guess, alcohol or something stronger perhaps:rolleyes:

No drugs and the room's spinning too, but seriously I came out of the Cayenne and into the RR Sport admittedly just the HSE but before ordering my car I had the HSE Dynamic out for a long weekend and it was remarkably close in character and balance to the Cayenne yet more refined and luxurious so for me at least it's not a huge jump for this RS model to be even better than the Turbo.

Fastest SUV on the Nurburgring
Land Rover has announced the production-specRange Rover Sport SVR will be introduced on August 14 at Pebble Beach.

About a month ago Land Rover unveiled aprototype of the Range Rover Sport SVR at Goodwood and now they are getting ready to show the final configuration of the vehicle which is scheduled to enter production in 2015. Set to be unveiled at Pebble Beach, Land Rover's most powerful production model ever is also the quickest ever SUV around the Nürburgring with an 8:14 lap time achieved with a production-spec vehicle driven by a company test driver.

At its heart is JLR's familiar supercharged 5.0-liter V8 packing 550 PS (405 kW) which will be enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in less than 5 seconds. Aside from the additional power, the Range Rover Sport SVR will also feature a more aggressive body encompassing a mesh grille, bigger air intakes, rear diffuser as well as beefier alloys, high-performance brakes and four exhaust pipes.

Also at Pebble Beach, Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover will showcase the first production US-spec F-Type Project 7 along with the first prototype of the Lightweight E-type.
