Like with many radical concepts, the proportions and design elements are exaggerated. So this might not necessarily be the 6er GT but an extreme representation of it and the design attributes it will bare.

That looks very aggressive. The roofline is very sleek. I hope the ride hight is not that high and is cause of transportation blocks in the suspension and not some command-seating bs.

Damn, if this is to showcase what the upcoming 6er-GT might look like, then Dammit I need to start earning some money. Just from this silhouette-ish cover alone, the car looks F__king awesome. Can't wait until the wraps are off.

It looks big, heavy and like a Mitsubushi, no way near a sportscar. Not even close.

Ok, now I noticed that is was meant to be the 6-series. No wonder then.

LOL. Car that is sporty != Sportscar. But yeah, it's supposed to showcase some of the 6er's design. :D

I guess there has to be something else then as we have not seen anything from those evil twins yet, that is where I hope there will be some real sportiness.

Potential Diagnosis: Caliente!!

Let's hope it doesn't disappoint.

Thats a sexxy looking thing right there..
Abit worried cause it looks Suvish with its ground clerance..and lord knows bmw doesent need another X car..

Now to the REAL question..will this be shown at the IAA??

Judging by the thin cover, semi-revealing, I wonder if this wasn't a planned leak :) It did create tons of buzz within minutes and wait when tomorrow everyone picks up the photos.

We're just a month away from IAA, so it makes sense to start that Creative Marketing machinery :)

I agree with you the photo are too well taken.

T. tells me that there is an additional model that splits in half revealing a working diagram of the "Efficient Dynamics technology and that this is probably it . But evidently you will see elements of these cars on other future BMW models as well as the technology.

I was over in Frankfurt and slowly and surely the Hall is being converted ready for the IAA. Up to press day we work through the night andeven after press day we have to get the display ready for the hordes of the public - over a million visitors come to the IAA - worldwide.

This is the BMW hall in the early hours of the morning before the first trade day of 2007.

Speaking of which I cannot wait for the MINI stand.

Although they have some foam under the plastic to hide the lines, I say the headlights and fascia have some derivative of M1 Hommage.

Just a question. How much money is spent on one of these shows? I know it has to be MAD expensive seeing that all the displays are custom made and I'm sure they are One-Time use only.

The current 6 er was heavily based on the Z9 concept 2 years after it was revealed @ some motor show. This could be the same.:)
