Cooper [Spy Shots] Next-generation MINI (F6X)

This interior is 9.5/10. The only complaint I have is the HUD which is not directly projected to the windscreen.

That looks very pleasing. If only the round display would be replaced with a more practical square screen it would be nearly perfect. At least it could be offered as an option.

I see a heavy inspiration from the cancelled Dyson car interior. It was a very good design btw.

With all due respect, do you think a square screen on a Mini is a good idea? Throw all the essence out the window and make it the same as all the cars in the world......

Is the inspiration from a car that was never produced?
I repost the photo of the previous page to get better information.

I get that idea of that round screen, but due to the content consumption it’s an unlogical limitation of space.

Yet I understand that there are people they will like that „retro” touch. I would make it optional.

Yes, I think after seeing the Aceman concept and now this, It hints at the cancelled Dyson design, which I think suits the Mini really good. It’s playfull and fresh yet serious towards the user.

I wish BMW and Mercedes would go that direction too, more design and function, laying the effort on material quality instead of gimmicks, leds and overdesigned surfaces.

If you ask me, I want the white analogues of the previous generations, a large central speedometer and a single tachometer on the dashboard, but what they did here for these times is great, the round one without bezel is very original and striking

You would like the Volvo EX30, it's a similar ethos. I for one am appalled that safety conscious Volvo didn't place a speedo in the drivers line of sight, it doesn't even have a HUD as an option.

The lack of speedo surprises:/ Not a fan of the vertical screen orientation. As I mentioned earlier, I like it more practical.

Also that steering wheel design and layout doesn’t fit that interior IMO. Capacitive buttons on shiny plastic LOL. I way prefer the Mini’s and Dyson’s proposal. Is more honest to the rest of the design.

Except that, yes, that’s a nice designed interior and the aesthetics to follow IMO.

Funny how the minimalist interior makes the steering wheel area look fuzzy and completely out of place.

That is super extra cool.
It’s the first round OLED display ever fitted to a car
Also the central circular screen determines the color of the rest of the ambience light

New and very striking

OLED displays are far and beyond any other. Glad they kept the concept's screen, as it will look magnificent.

The black parts of an OLED screen have the pixels turned OFF. So no light bleed into the interior AT ALL.

That new screen is the crown jewel of the car and is the highlight of the entire interior.

Looks more high tech than what BMW itself does atm, to be honest. And more individual too with a bespoke round OLED screen instead of standard 16:9 LCD screens.....

Front page, media site with 40 million daily readers

That's wayyyy more than the New York Times, so I highly doubt that.
In fact, 4 million would already be an awful lot. And there is no Spanish language site remotely close to the top 10 most read news websites...
I'm sure you mean 40 million monthly readers (and that still is a lot)

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
