Cooper [Spy Shots] Next-generation MINI (F6X)

Mini Cooper (2001–present), also called: Mini John Cooper Works (2008–2024), Mini Hatch (2001–2024), Mini Hardtop (2001–2024), Mini One (2001–2022).
Verdict
This fifth-generation MINI hatch takes a very different approach, and not only by standardising the Cooper name. Our first taste of the all-electric version shows a car with bags of promise. It’s the electric MINI the world has been crying out for, with bags of fun on offer and even more character. The tech and quality are all very MINI in their attitude and execution, and everything is very cleverly done. It’s a car that leaves us smiling and wanting more – as every MINI should.

I don't know what colours are going to be available on a non JCW version.

But I would really like one in a dark green with an off-white/beige roof and mirrors. I am definitely done with black or grey cars.

edit: like this but a cream white. It won't be available....

Looks like it’s getting that sweet OLED screen after all in the production version. Very modern, very high tech:

The fabric and flat dash looks great too. All in all makes the current interior extremely dated.

The fabric dash just shows how ahead of it's time the first gen. Smart Fortwo was. Shame about the engine and gearbox.

The round display is still wannabe retro over function.
Reminds me of the useless Android smartwatches vs. Apple Watch.

Wasted space.

Considering the entire car is retro, I think they've hit the nail on the head. They know their target market.

You do not know since you have never used it, Mini interior always round indicators its characteristic, faithful to it and to what its public likes, they do it again with an entirely different technology, and it turns out that it is also the first round Oled screen in any car,
Only that detail will fill the comment box.
Jackpot

In conversation one of the aims of this new MINI is to repeat history and embrace the attribute's of the MINI for todays millennials just as we all did back in the early 2000’s. But for the Electric Era. One nod to the 2000 MINI nostalgia is that they have re-interpreted and brought back the Pepper-pots and 5 Spoke alloys.

Yeah
After a while, interesting changes are perceived that reissue the magic, sometimes years must pass for the ideas to flow again and to be so good that it is worth changing the imposed ones.
The new Fiat 500, it did well, it is being very successful in Europe only in EV, the lost the USA I think...

I love the design, the attention to detail that vertical "strap" is great.
Sometimes the importance of a cute steering wheel is underestimated, this one lacks nothing

The official reveals of this and the Countryman should be right around the corner.

Clever single screen solution for:
Instrument cluster
Spotlight
Short cut buttons
Temperature controls

I think it could work very well. Looks way less cluttered than BMW iDrive 8.
That's right, back to the origins

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
