I think there's will be cost cutting. The current X7 was a new kid on the block, and therefore BMW overspecced it attract new customers. It has many luxury touches and nices to haves that the core customer who just want a big 3 row SUV might not care about and therefore can be removed. This is the very reason why I'm considering the pre-facelifted X7. Almost all units highly specced and better equipped than a GLS or Q7.The interior is going to be the important part here. Let's hope they don't fit it with an X5 interior again. That's all I want.
