Looking especially purposeful with it's wide tracked, solid stanced visual. Far more flattering than the first prototype images from a few months ago.

This may be quite good after all.

It's just a render. Looks like it's pretty close.

It does look pretty close indeed.

And pretty bad!

That front-end looks a bit stubby for an E-class. looks more like it could be C=Class

It almost looks like a W212 E-Class.

I was about to post this.
Overall, fantastic proportions for an EV sedan.

The new model onslaught continues. Hard to keep track, but this is one to follow.

It's just camo on this one.

I guess it won't be as angular as the W212, but at least it seems to have a similar clamshell hood ;)

That is a very poor render, just copying the front of the GLC and trying to graft it into a LWB Chinese E-class rear. I dont think the front will look like that and the overall proportions.

Here we go with the amg e class eq

Nice angular lines, bring back nostalgic vibes and a bit W212. The boot looks quite long and will have a massive boot it seems. Front clambshell bonnet is virtually same as the W212.

IMHO, despite the thick camofoil and foam veil, it is already looking more promising than what was seen in the first batch of E-Class EQ sedan prototype images from several months ago.

Dare I say that M-B design may be recovering some of the mojo that it rapidly began to lose some years ago ? That would be genuinely good news.

Should it be as robust as the W/S212 is, it would be a major "win" for the brand as well as it's customers. In terms of the durability of materials, thoughtful fit, finish and robust mechanical componentry, the W/S212 is considered one of the best E-Class cars PERIOD. Regardless of whether pre-or post-MoPF. This has been confirmed in various product assessments conducted by´German vehicle inspection agencies such as TÜV, Dekra and GTÜ.

Some argue that the angularity of it's design was a bit "funky". But nowadays, IMHO, that makes the W/S212 all the more endearing as well as enduring. Perhaps it is now "Funky Fresh" ?

From the first spies that came I said it reminds me of the w212 I had a E350cdi 2011 and a E250cdi FL 2013

Those cars were built like tanks the most solid cars I did on my 350 around 140 thousand kilometres

If I remember all we spent in was normal service and diesel injectors but that was because in those days SA diesel was very poor quality

Make the e class EV as solid as that car and a good design and MB will be flying

I know German taxi drivers loved that Shape and build
