That wasn't the case the last time I checked his IP.

So in the end it might not be the same person we are talking about. He says that he was planning on moving back to Colorado and that was like 2-3 years ago. Still he was living in the US back then. Not that I really care :D

Maybe in this vid, perhaps? :)

You should be happy that you are being chosen all the time.

Singled out more like which is typical of how it is round here, if you don't toe the line and conform to the way certain individuals see the world than this is the kind of treatment one can expect I suppose. :(

Rome wasn't changed in a day and neither will this place. ;)

I don't mind the design "language," I just wish it was more evolved. Give it a family look but also give it its own character.

Agreed it should be a bit more unique than it appears to be, even LandRover can tweak it's basically similar design language to individual models then so should Jaguar. Though saying that the last 3 series saloon and coupe looked similar until you placed them side by side so it's possible the same might be true here.

Given your poor track record of prior bans and multiple re-registrations, why would you think otherwise? If you publically suggest that you're singled out and persecuted we will respond to set the record straight.
The founding members of this forum were here long before you in your multiple guises. You're not popular with most of them. Your prior breaking of forum rules is tolerated and you're permitted to interact here - don't embark on the pity parade.

If you're so unhappy with this site and its management - why be here? For so long?

Jaguar Radiographs New XE Sedan's Dashboard and Tech

You've seen the XE's face, you've seen its body and you've seen what it looks like without its clothes, and now, Jaguar wants you to see its cabin through a virtual x-ray machine.

The dashboard appears to be influenced by both the F-Type (dual binnacle instrument cluster) and the XJ (center console under the air vents) though, Jaguar did not talk about the design.

Instead, it placed the emphasis on the car's technology features including an all-new InControl infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen and full smart-phone integration for both iOS and Android devices. The system also functions as a Wi-Fi hotspot for multiple devices.

Jaguar says it will offer a variety of apps allowing smart-phone users to control functions such as door looking and engine start "from anywhere in the world".

The XE will also debut a laser head-up display (HUD), which Jaguar claims, is an industry-first.

"Projecting sharp, high-contrast colour images onto the windscreen, the technology provides the driver with information such as speed and navigation instructions with maximum clarity and minimum distraction. As well as better image quality, the laser HUD is smaller and almost a third lighter than existing systems," said Jaguar in a statement.

The British firm's new 3-Series and C-Class fighter will be revealed for the first time on September 8, ahead of a world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October and a sales launch early next year.

I fail to understand what's the use of this control funtion. Why would I want to start the engine from anywhere in the world?!

Jaguar XE SVR coming in 2016 with 489 bhp
To be powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine

Jaguar is reportedly planning a range-topping SVR version for its all-new XE sedan, scheduled for a debut on September 8.

Auto Express reports the vehicle in question is set to fight the BMW M3 and will be powered by the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine from the F-Type S tuned to 489 bhp (364 kW). The unit will be matted to an 8-speed automatic transmission programmed to offer faster shifts than in the standard car. This will enable the sports sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around four seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The report also says larger brakes, stiffer and lower suspension and an electronically controlled limited slip rear differential are expected. Other goodies will likely include an active exhaust system and a full aerodynamic body kit with modified front bumper and grille, a redesigned rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and quad tailpipes and bigger wheels.

The XE SVR will be designed and prepared by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations team and will arrive by early 2016 for around $100,000 (£60,000).
