Decided to pop to the Nurburgring this evening in the R8 and took a peek inside the BMW test centre there. This is what I saw. An M235i in Estoril Blue. Looked good.

I'd say they need to work on the dampening a tad, because right now it's shakier than a business deal with Bernie Madoff.

sadly its not the best , maybe too much length in the wheelbase or the stretch of the image, proportions are better and more compact than this.

Apparently there will be no M2 anymore, the M235i will be that car. Reason? New lightweight engine H/R I4 is too expensive to build, tuned N55 engine will be not enough to justify price increase and M3/M4 engine, even detuned will threaten them. Maybe after facelift there might be an M2, but now it is put on hiatus. BMW M is working on other projects.

It makes no sense, it is not like 1M didn't have LSD. Also, N54 is superior to N55.

OK. If this is true then they've been delayed from July to August and then September.
