Hi guys;

I spotted this car about an hour ago in a parking lot! I was amazed how the car was sitting properly on those big wheels! :usa7uh:

Check the tires profile & you'll see they're not fitted properly on rims! The owner had to put extra-low profile tires to make them roll! :eusa_thin

Enjoy;

Those aren't actual SLR rims, they are the SL version of the SLR rims. Still dumb looking though.

Im not gettin this at all!! im starting to see alot of VW's and even a Saab with MB rims on, just seems like alot of hub wrecking nonsense to me. could they be replicas cos they look kinda small to me. Im not really keen on the streched tyre look either, it seems alot of hassel and it dosent look to safe to me plus i can imagine parallel parkin could be a bit stressful,lol.

most proberly, never met a VW tuner who wanted rims for performance tho :D

As for a Corrado G60...:icondrool

True point, ive also seen it done on a few MB's as well, Im all up for changing rims to give a car a personal touch but just seems a bit odd to me to modify a car knowin it will actually make it handle worse.

Ive not looked at the G60 up close as i dont talk to the guy much now, but it dose look well maintained and the mods done to it look really subtle and suit the car. Corrado's seem to be poppin up alot round my way at the mo, there is a yellow 1.8, a spotless auto VR6 in red for sale near my work and i often see a woman with a dark colored VR6 near my local supermarket.
