Sightings SPOTTED TODAY - Part 7

Interesting vehicle sightings, rare finds, exotic cars, classics, and unexpected encounters.
Thanks, Matski and awesome stories/memories as usual, Jimmy. Spotted today, BMW 502 V8 "Baroque Angel".

The BMW 501/502s' emitted a distinct, clearly audible "wind whistle" when speeding down the Autobahn. Back in the early-to-mid 1960s', these were still relatively fast cars. And until gradually being replaced by the "Neue Klasse" sedans, they were, next to the VW Bug, the Munich police squad car of choice- and featured in that old BR TV series "Isar 12".

I can still remember when those Messerschmitt Kabinenroller were not uncommon on German roads. There was even a "sporty" 4-wheeled version: the TG500 "Tiger".

I'm amazed with that ceiling that I suppose is made of some kind of transparent acrylic, it proves that there have always been creative and crazy people (in a good way), a marvel and I imagine the work it would take to do it at that time

In essence, the roof was adopted from a WWII fighter aircraft canopy. Messerschmitt was a manufacturer of military aircraft during and prior to WWII, the ME109 being its' most (in)famous product. Post WWII, the company began to produce small private sport aircraft and the "Kabinenroller" cars, later evolving into the company Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm and finally Airbus/EADS (Germany).

According to information from someone that is "connected" and I would consider a "reliable source", the presentation of the eTron GT at German dealerships is tentatively scheduled for some time "latter first quarter/early second quarter" 2021.

I like those additions on the side and rear windows of the Mustang GT, for some reason they fit very well, will they be afatermarket or OEM?
The orange of the RS7 is lighter than usual, very nice

The Virage/DB9.2 is one of the most desirable Aston Martins. Classic, timeless beauty.

The Peugeot (Pininfarina) 404 cabriolets/coupes were super cool as well. Very similar to the FIAT 1500 cabriolets of the same era, only with a bit more emphasis on comfort rather than sportiness.
