Color me "absolutely stumped". Some sort of Triumph Stag-based, fiberglass-bodied "kit car" ? Some sort of obscure TVR ? And then...there's something "Camaroesque" about the car. Surely fitted with an American V8. Relatively modern rearview mirrors and windscreen/A-pillar theme. Bonnet clips and windscreen braces indicate a competition car. Some sort of Holden ? Absolutely no clue whatsoever.

Sir Stirling Moss drove for this marque during their 1950's stint in F1.

The car is a Connaught D-Type.

As far as I know it never made it to production, so this might be the concept car itself, since according to the DVLA the car in the photo is green.

It was destined to have a 2-Litre V10 engine. I don't know what actually resides under the bonnet.

...and I almost guessed Vanwall following your Sterling Moss reference. And then I viewed the spoiler and had totally forgotten that particular marque.
