verdict:
if they were really as cheap as suggested by the basic list price there would be nothing to say against the VW Scirroc 2.0 TSI DSG and the Volvo C30 T5. But with all the options especially the Scirrocoo is becomg much too expensive. The Volvo might be more powerful, it beats the Scirocco at the track but not in straight-line acceleration, handling and braking. A more direct steering, a different set-up and a better brake would be ebnefitial to the Volvo.

Both are very attractive powerful cars. I've driving the c30, and the T5 engine was great, but the 6 manual was probably the worse feeling, along with mushy breaks and s40 handeling....The interior was class leading however.

EVO got the oppisite result over at Bedford, but then again, that is expected as cars are different in nature they will perform better on some tracks than on others...

I would take the Scirocco out of those two cause i find C30's design to be too weird for my taste.
