Surprised very few people have take notice at the monstrous performance of this car with "only" 550ps. Looking at some tuner sites, they do 600+ hp conversions on the 997, showing the potential of the 3.8L engine and the amazing performance capabilities of POrsche.

Not only do these cars blaze in a straight line, their track and handling abilities must be killer.

Multi test against Zonda F, Carrera GT & CCR. Gemballa wins this one by 4 points, although if they were to give the GT550 a Super test it would most likley lose overall (based on the Hockenheim data)

RuF also has a 550+ hp car based on the 997, I think most of the major tuners have a twin-turbo mod for the 997. I wonder if there is a mag that will do a comparo on them all.

I do agree with Just Me, give me the RuF, but still this GT550 is an awesome car.

Auto Motor Und Sport did a comparsion on T.V. with about six Cayman's, so eventually one of the German magazine's will do a comparsion, can't wait
