Sport Auto: Comparsions

'Practical cars'. :D

Don't worry about it then Bruce, I don't need any other test. Thanks for offering. :usa7uh:

You're welcome

:t-cheers:

(P.S. I'll probably make another one of these tonight for fun)

Here's a new one i created, the question on the mind of a Porsche fan, is the Cayman actually better than the Boxster?

At present time the Cayman is slight better then the Boxter but tune them both up to more tan 400hp and the difference would probably be a bit bigger.

How about 997 GT3 & 997TT? TIA

I can do it, but i have to mention a few things first. Sport Auto has never tested the 997 Turbo in a supertest so i would have to use the smaller test (Hockenheim data, excluding 36 metre slalom, 110 metre evasive). Sadly in that test Sport Auto did not run the Turbo with the optional Michelin Cup tyres so that lap time on the Hockenheim was 1:13.7, compared to the GT3 with 1:11.7. So you can wait for a supertest of the 997 Turbo with Cup tyres or i can make it as is. Your choice :usa7uh:

Don't disagree with that,

Good info, thanks! I'd rather wait for the supertest:t-cheers:

I thought the M5 was good for 330 and RS4 for 280. Very close thanks bruce

You're welcome :usa7uh:

I think you're right, it's 330 km/h for the M5, as for the RS4 i had heard a few numbers between 270 km/h but wasn't sure, i just used the figure that Sport Auto achieved on the straight: Dottinger Hohe (the vehicle they had was delimited)

Either way we know the M5 has a higher top speed than the RS4

the M5 in sportauto wasnt delimited, ask any M5 member and they tell you the speedo is showing 270km/h. In sportauto the M5 hit the limiter at 269km/h.
There is a M -package which raise the the topspeed to 305km/h but neither M5 or M6 were tested with the package in Sportauto.

I wasn't talking about the M5...you'd have to see the thumbnail to see what i mean

Here it is again,

I was talking about the RS4, but thanks anyways, i did not know the M5 was not delimited, i would have assumed it was as the claimed top speed with the limter is 250 km/h (is it?)

Anyways interesting information, regardless the M5 got it's proper point, don't worry it didn't miss out :eusa_danc :D
