5 Series [Sport Auto] BMW M550d x-Drive 0-250 km/h acceleration

The BMW 5 Series is an executive car manufactured by BMW since 1972.
6 seconds plus 0-100 km/h?

In this video, yes. But the gearbox was in manual mode and he hit the rev limiter in first gear and also reved the engine too high. In automatic Sport Mode it would do a sub-5 second 0-100 IMO.

^ Well with two up in a mate's A6 3.0TDI we got 5.63s 0-60mph on an iphone app using launch control before easing off at 80 and this thing is kicking out an extra 140horses so I would reckon less than 5 seconds is definitely on the cards.

And how long did it take to reach 100 km/h? Because 60 mph is actually 96 km/h.

Haven't a clue, probably 0.3s longer I guess. My comment was that I reckon the M550xi would reach 60mph in less than 5 seconds, not how quick it would reach 100km/h. :usa7uh:

I didnt see the yellow light flashing. Traction seem to be great. Forza AWD :D

^ I wonder just how successful a RWD version would have been, I bet that little yellow lights would have been constantly ON for those first vital seconds and it would end up being not quicker to 60 than a 530d. ;)

Yes AWD has its moments. :D

This is incredible. The new 8 Speed transmissions seem very responsive and it doesnt sound like a diesel at all from inside.
