The BMW 5 Series is an executive car manufactured and marketed by BMW since 1972. The car is sold as either a sedan or, since 1991, a station wagon (marketed as "Touring"). A 5-door fastback (marketed as "Gran Turismo") was sold between 2009 and 2017. Each successive generation has been given an internal G-code designation since 2017. Previously, a F-code designation was used between 2010 and 2016, while an E-code designation was used between 1972 and 2010. These are used to distinguish each model and generation from each other.
In this video, yes. But the gearbox was in manual mode and he hit the rev limiter in first gear and also reved the engine too high. In automatic Sport Mode it would do a sub-5 second 0-100 IMO.
^ Well with two up in a mate's A6 3.0TDI we got 5.63s 0-60mph on an iphone app using launch control before easing off at 80 and this thing is kicking out an extra 140horses so I would reckon less than 5 seconds is definitely on the cards.

Haven't a clue, probably 0.3s longer I guess. My comment was that I reckon the M550xi would reach 60mph in less than 5 seconds, not how quick it would reach 100km/h.
^ I wonder just how successful a RWD version would have been, I bet that little yellow lights would have been constantly ON for those first vital seconds and it would end up being not quicker to 60 than a 530d.
