The all new, next-generation, 2014 Hyundai Genesis sedan has just hit the streets of Europe for its' first test drive, and from what we can see, things with the Genesis are looking quite impressive.

Codenamed "DH," the new Genesis will ride on an updated version of the current RWD chassis. It's rumored that some of those upgrades include shedding a few hundred pounds, and a revised suspension for a sportier drive.

Overall, the styling cues we can see look quite a bit more dramatic that the current Genesis sedan. We might even say it looks downright German!

LED running lights are visible up front, along with a wide, hexagonal grille opening, featuring horizontal grille bars. While we can't say for sure, the headlights look as though they might be full LED units.

The Genesis should continue on with updated versions of the 3.8L V6 and 5.0L V8-cylinder offerings under the hood. An 8-speed transmission will be available at launch, but a 10-speed transmission will also be in the works for a later model year.
