This is a shot I took of my car a few weeks ago and just did some serious PhotoShop to it. A bit of HDR and exposure blending was necessary to take this to the next level. Took about and hour or so but worth the effort.

I know what HDR is and so on but how can I achieve this in Photoshop simply from having one photo? Someone who can help me out briefly?

Hmm.. I'm getting the CS3 very Soon :D
But either I can't do this..

Learn us - Anyone ?

Thanks for posting Zonda
:t-cheers:

What is HDR?

High Dynamic Range

essentially you take several shots that are exactly identical except each at a different exposure, then you combine them all into one photo, giving you theroretically the perfect exposure.

I had a few from scotland that I did, didn't turn out as well as I hoped though.

The best I think you could do without actually taking a HDR is use the Shadow/Highlight adjustment, but that can look a little wierd at times.

I tried Hussein's method and it worked pretty good, and Jeff's way too. I also tried changing the exposure so I got one under exposed, one normal and one overexposed and then blended them all together. All methods seemed to work but none really was as good as Greyghost's result. Maybe it's about finding exactly which threee exposures make the perfect shot, and maybe that's what takes time and fiddling.

Thanks for the help anyway:)

How did your attempts go DaSilva?

Well.. I'm not sure.. I've done so much to the picture, different things..
I'm not sure which method I've used and .. but..
The outcome was good:)

So I'm going to say: Fine ;)
But I read and learn everyday about CS3.
When I will get it in a few weeks time ..

It will be more than fine :D
btw:
Thanks for asking
