#1 smart #1 Dual motor


The Smart #1 (stylised as "smart #1") is a battery electric subcompact crossover SUV developed and produced by Smart Automobile, a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz Group and Geely Holding. It is the first vehicle produced by the joint venture. The model is based on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) electric vehicle platform developed by Geely. In China, the model is marketed as the Smart Jingling #1 (Chinese: 精灵#1; lit. 'Elf #1').

The family-size electric crossover is a bold new world for the Smart brand, and while it's competitively priced, the #1 Smart has plenty of areas for improvement. It's not a fundamentally bad car, but areas like chassis tuning, electric motor calibration, and the tastefully acquired infotainment system feel a bit rushed. However, few EVs at this price point don't have their drawbacks, so it's still worth checking out.

Once they iron out the bugs with the infotainment and the suspension, this looks to be a much better and needed effort from Smart. 272PS is certainly not going to make it break speed records but will be more than quick enough
 
After reading those first two reviews, the conclusion is that it is a car committed to basic functions (handling issues, rolling refinements, infotainment, which are not at the level), enough to say: pass.

The previous ones were good but they were out of the market and they failed and this new one they do simply badly, they need more work, Mercedes is sometimes not ashamed

Smart Automobile Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Mercedes-Benz AG and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in 2019 and aimed at producing Smart-badged cars in China to be marketed globally.
