Just a few pictures of our 914s. After all the new car pics in here I figure a couple shots of the classics wouldn't hurt. ;) ...sorry if this in the wrong spot..Admin/Mod, please put in appropriate section if this is not....thanks!

They look very nice and it looks like you have an active 914 community there.

Here's my 914/6

Gorgeous Stable you have there! Ahh to be rich and famous...!! Do you truly own a 916!? I would love to see pictures of that! The /6 looks like loads of fun on the track!

My 916 is stripped down to a bare shell, although I have all the parts. I bought it that way in 2004. I have about 3 inches thick of paperwork documenting the car. It started life as a 1970 914/6. Then in 1981 the Porsche factroy rebuilt it as a 916. They had 916 parts on the shelves since the original 11 916s of 1972. It will be a long time before I can have it restored, becasue I have a 1978 930 that has been undergoing restoration for 3 years and I just shipped my 1994 turbo 3.6 to the same shop to begin a restoration.
My 914/6 race car has a 2.4 liter race engine, but it blew up last September. It should have had a top end rebuild every 25 hours, but I neglected it. I am considering putting a 3.6-3.8 in it. I would not be able to race it becasue it would not be competitive in the class it would be in with that engine, but it would be a lot of fun for track days.

That is a very interesting bit of information. I had no idea something like that would happen with Porsche. Definetly would be one to restore! I am in true envy!!
